MARKETING MANAGER
As a member of the marketing team, and reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Manager executes and monitors plans designed to achieve or surpass budgeted sales and ticket revenue goals, and assists with the development and execution of communications plans.
Primary Responsibilities (complete job description available upon request):
1. Manage and execute implementation of subscription campaign.
2. Manage and execute implementation of single ticket event promotional campaigns.
3. Support DM&C in management and execution of communications plan.
4. Oversee website/e-mail campaign maintenance and ongoing development.
5. Work closely with Box Office and Patron Services staff to ensure excellent customer service.
6. Participate as member of marketing team covering front-of-house and event duties as required.
Management retains the right to add to or subtract from above duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's Degree and/or 1-3 years of experience in marketing, arts administration or advertising required. Successful candidate will have strong ability to simultaneously manage multiple campaigns with attention to detail, while being able to work as a member of a results-oriented team. Additional characteristics of a successful candidate will include strong written and verbal communications skills, website and e-mail design abilities, experience with Theatre Manager software, front-of-house management experience, a sense of humor and an affinity for the performing arts.
