Midori's concerts with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra are part of a collaboration with the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra through Midori's Orchestra Residencies Program, a special project which aims to strengthen the ties of the American youth orchestra to its local adult orchestra, as well as to bolster relationships with performers, staff, and the community-at-large.
