Prometheus and Beethoven were legendary titans. One was based in mythology, the other became a legend. One brought fire to warm the human race; the other an equally momentous gift of splendid music. The ESO presents an all-Beethoven performance, including Piano Concerto No. 5, the "Emperor" Concerto, performed by the stunningly talented young pianist, Gabriela Martinez, described by one reviewer as "an empress of the keyboard.”
