Musically Speaking Pre-Concert Chats
To further your learning experience, don’t forget to attend a “Musically Speaking Pre-Concert Chat” one hour before Classics Concerts begin at the concert venue. Chats are often led by Music Director Andrew Grams and guest artists!
ESO League Boutique
Long, draped tables full of brilliant colors and glittering lights surrounded by crowds of shoppers make the Elgin Symphony League Boutique in the lobby of the Hemmens Cultural Center hard to miss! Operated by the Elgin Symphony League, it is a one-stop shopping adventure that offers guests, volunteers and musicians a delightful way to enhance an ESO concert.
The League members choose items based on the concert theme or a holiday season. Luring browsers and buyers in with a wide array of musical themed mugs, ornaments, jewelry, scarves and unique gifts, audience members always look forward to seeing what is “new this time!”
The purchases at the Boutique go towards helping fund the Elgin Symphony Orchestra. The boutique accepts cash, check and most major credit cards.
To contact the Elgin Symphony League, please email League@elginsymphony.org.
The purpose of the League is to support the Elgin Symphony Orchestra Association’s mission through actively volunteering time, talents and enthusiasm, thus encouraging others of all ages and backgrounds in the Fox Valley to participate in the ESO mission.
Mingle with the Musicians
After the concert your fun does not have to end!
The musicians of the ESO love to be able to meet and talk to our patrons. Mingle with the Musicians makes it happen! Following Saturday evening concerts, there are always some free appetizers and great conversation with our musicians in the lobby. It is a fun and casual way to hang out with other patrons and supporters of the ESO.
So stop by and meet our musicians and Music Director Andrew Grams up close!
