Featuring George Gershwin’s An American in Paris, Symphonie fantastique, Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony, and much more

Details of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra’s 2026-27 season have just been announced.  The exciting partnership between Music Director Chad Goodman and the ESO continues to attract enthusiastic audiences to the Hemmens Cultural Center, with Sunday concerts routinely sold to capacity.  Now is the time to reserve your seat for next season with highlights including:

  • Tchaikovsky’s timeless First Piano Concerto.

  • The ESO’s own Isabella Lippi as soloist in showpieces by Dvořák and Saint-Saëns.

  • Dvořák’s spirited Symphony No. 6.

  • The fiery Symphonie fantastique of Hector Berlioz.

  • Beethoven’s dazzling Piano Concerto No. 3 alongside the triumphant Fifth Symphony of Dmitri Shostakovich.

  • Gershwin’s iconic An American in Paris.
